Our story
Our story began unexpectedly when four coaches - Jane, Katherine, Sue, and Tammy - found themselves working on a group project in Dr Sarah McKay and Dr Mary Collins' Neuroscience Coaching Network.
-
Beginnings
Our task was to develop a tool that combined the coaching process with neuroscience. We aimed to create a resource that could empower individuals and coaches in their pursuit of personal growth and self-discovery
Life, though, can take unexpected turns. Jane came across an opportunity she couldn't pass up and decided to pursue a different coaching path. While her departure left a gap, we're grateful for Jane’s contributions, including her insights, input, and humour, all of which helped shape what we now call Neuro Nudges.
Our first spark: we brainstormed, researched, and experimented to create a “snakes and ladders” style game that merged coaching principles with neuroscience insights.

A new chapter unfolds
Neuro Nudges has evolved into the dynamic cards and website you experience today, thanks to the collaborative effort of our team. The combined expertise of Tammy, Sue, Katherine, and Sarah has driven us to find a way to blend neuroscience with coaching principles in an engaging, practical and easy-to-use manner.
Today and Beyond
Neuro Nudges cards are a useful tool for coaching professionals who wish to incorporate neuroscience into their methods for fostering behaviour change and personal growth. Therapists, psychologists, counsellors, teachers and organisational leaders will find these cards a practical resource in their mentoring and developmental roles.
These cards are equally helpful for individuals engaged in self-coaching, as they offer insightful coaching questions and neuroscience-based explanations to support self-discovery and personal advancement.
Whether you're a practitioner helping others or someone on a personal development journey, Neuro Nudges can enhance your understanding of how the brain influences behaviour, aiding in the pursuit of lasting positive change.
Our origin story is a reminder that even when life throws unexpected changes our way, new opportunities for growth and innovation can arise. We're proud to continue evolving and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in personal development, thanks to our remarkable journey that began with a simple assignment among colleagues.
