Neuro Nudges and the Landscape Model

Neuro Nudges and the Landscape Model

The landscape model of coaching is based on the work of Ken Wilber. Wilber's landscape model is a theoretical framework that proposes a multidimensional map of reality, integrating various perspectives from different disciplines such as psychology, spirituality, and science. It suggests that human experience can be understood through multiple lenses, including individual development, cultural evolution, and the interplay between subjective and objective realities.

When applied to coaching, the landscape model examines coaching questions by considering four quadrants (interior-exterior, individual-collective), suggesting that any problem, issue, or goal is complex, with various dimensions and tensions influencing or impacting it.

The Neuro Nudges coaching cards align well with the landscape model as they delve into seven distinct categories of coaching inquiries. These questions, together with behavioural nudges and neuro insights, operate under the premise that each coaching query is embedded within a larger system, encompassing various interrelated aspects.

When working with each card, it can be useful to contemplate the landscape framework and approach the questions and responses from the perspective of each quadrant. This enhances the richness of each possible answer.
